invaluable to our clients. Individually, each member of the STS team brings a strong, unique
set of skills to the company. As part of our team, each employee plays a critical role in the
successful completion of client deliverables.
Jeffrey Shoap

Jeffrey Shoap has owned and successfully operated Shoap Technical Services since 1986. When he’s not running the business, he still enjoys editing the work of the rest of the team with his notorious red pen. He taught college-level English writing for several years and continues to work with organizations and students in a similar capacity. He lectures on technical writing issues and provides senior-level supervision to all projects and personnel. As the person holding overall responsibility for all projects, Jeffrey oversees the design and development process, steers project teams, oversees budgets and timelines, checks project quality, and monitors client satisfaction. Jeffrey and his teams are extremely experienced in the design, development, and completion of technical documentation and training. Jeffrey earned a Ph.D. in English from the University of Massachusetts.
Shaun Kelly

Shaun Kelly is the senior technical writer and project manager, responsible for overseeing many of the projects STS writers are working on. His work at Shoap has ranged from functional specifications to online help to white papers. Before joining Shoap in 2003, he had technical writing experience in the software and transportation fields, as well as experience in web design and online journalism. Shaun's love for technology began in the fourth grade when he wrote his first lines of code in BASIC on a TRS-80. Deep down, though, he always knew the real money lay in the liberal arts. He earned his B.A. from Kenyon College with a double major in English and Psychology.
Will Wright

Will Wright comes to Shoap Technical Services with a BS degree in Science, Technology and Culture from the Georgia Institute of Technology. With a heavy emphasis in Computer Science and Multimedia Design, Will’s education has served him well in the highly technical field of technical writing. He uses his multimedia expertise to develop documentation and training in a variety of formats, such as product emulators, flash animations, web-based training courses, interactive training games, instructional videos, PDF and Word documents, and PowerPoint presentations.
Daniel Labrador

Daniel Labrador joined Shoap after earning a degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech. His

industries, creating documentation and training materials for a wide range of applications. A native
Spanish speaker, he is also STS' resident Spanish-English translator.
Jordan Bethea

Jordan Bethea is a proven writer with extremely strong technical skills. After earning a degree in Computational Media at Georgia Tech with a heavy concentration in computer science, Jordan has worked on several technical documentation projects. In one project, with nothing but the bare bones code, he documented and API and message specifications. Most recently, he's been working with another developer at a major telecommunications company, rewriting (in Java) an online web-based application for delivering training materials.
James Lentini

James Lentini has a Computer Science degree from Georgia Tech, where
he specialized in AI and robotics. He worked for two years with the
Georgia Tech Research Institute, developing and documenting numerous
computer vision and automation projects. He also served for one year
as marketing director for Georgia Tech's theatre group, DramaTech. His
focus at Shoap includes software user guides, employee training
material, and anything requiring special software expertise.

Prior to joining Shoap, Katherine worked as a valuation analyst for one of the big four accounting firms, responsible for valuing machinery and equipment for a variety of industries including manufacturing, hospitality, aerospace and defense, oil and gas, and amusement parks.
